Band Biography
Formed in late 2001, Bury Your Dead has been making a name for themselves in the New England hardcore music scene. Having spawned from such ground-breaking bands as Piecemeal, Hamartia, As the Sun Sets, Blood has Been Shed, Pictures of Gabriel and Groundzero, these 5 guys come from all over. Some have compared them to the likes of Hatebreed, Buried Alive and Throwdown, but we 'll say they are in a league of their own. Bury Your Dead has spent the past 6 months playing shows up and down the East Coast, surviving off of the positive feedback and sales of their demo, creating a buzz that could not beignored. Bury Your Dead will be touring extensively throughout the rest of the year, and straight through the next. BYD 's simple intensity at their live shows is a sobering and mind numbing experience. You will have no choice other than to respond, react, and rock. BYD broke up just prior to the release of their Alveran debut, but have since reformed with a new and improved lineup.
Eulogy's re-issue of BYD's debut CD YOU HAD ME AT HELLO hits stores May 24th.
